With more than 5 million surveys received from clients each year across our Consumer, Business, and Service Provider segments, our Customer Listening Team is responsible for managing the end-to-end Voice of the Customer (VoC) technique. This comprehensive approach includes the design and programming of customer experience surveys, with over 40 studies translated into more than 10 languages and deployed in over 20 countries worldwide. We are seeking a talented Senior Voice of Customer Data Architect to help us transform and innovate this critical customer insights methodology.
About This Opportunity
As a Senior Voice of Customer Data Architect at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our next-generation Voice of Customer technique sourced from Cornerstone and integrated with our survey and dashboard platform hosted through Qualtrics, our premier survey vendor. You will work closely with product and process owners, subject matter specialists from Qualtrics, and our agile technology teams to deliver innovative solutions that transform how we understand and serve our customers.

You'll be instrumental in building robust data architecture that supports optimal data processing and standardized metric definitions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Teams: Work closely with application teams to define, structure, and capture comprehensive business requirements for Voice of Customer initiatives
- Drive Voice of Customer Innovation: Develop deep expertise in Voice of Customer methodologies and leverage this knowledge to transform data within the Cornerstone Big Data Platform
- Design Data Architecture: Build robust data model architecture to support optimal data processing and standardized metric definitions across all customer experience initiatives
- Enable Advanced Analytics: Deliver big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions using transformational technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python
- Ensure Data Quality: Develop innovative solutions ensuring data quality and accuracy through intensive testing at variable and use-case levels
- Optimize Performance: Provide guidance to enhance capabilities and drive efficiency in computing programs using the massive data ecosystem
- Lead Consumer Story Analysis: Conduct consumer story analysis and elaboration, design and develop software programs, and explore and build automation tools
- Automate Processes: Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and operational efficiency
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with partners from across the organization to prioritize, define, develop, and test data for various use cases as part of the VoC end-to-end technique
Essential Qualifications
- Hands-On Development Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on development experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, Shell Scripting languages, along with development, launch management, and troubleshooting expertise for data-driven projects
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to actively collaborate with relationship managers and product owners to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical deliverables
- Agile Methodology Expertise: Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, including the implementation of small increments of products at regular intervals to business groups
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of big data technologies and their application in enterprise environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Qualtrics or similar survey platforms
- Background in Voice of Customer programs and customer experience analytics
- Experience with real-time and batch processing architectures
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks
- Previous work in financial services or fintech industries
