Our pharmacists play a vital role in the U.S. healthcare system by providing a wide range of pharmacy and healthcare services, including those that promote equitable access to care for medically underserved populations. **Job Responsibilities** As an Experienced Full Stack Data Scientist – RWE and Clinical Data Science, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, actionable insights from real-world evidence (RWE) and real-world data (RWD) to inform business decisions and drive innovation in the medical trials space. Your expertise will be essential in designing and executing advanced analytics and statistical analyses to address critical business questions and support the development of new treatments and therapies. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain standardized, evaluation-ready patient cohorts from in-house data assets or certified systems, analyze and interpret results, and contribute to analytics strategy * Partner with other members of the arenaflex Clinical Trial group to provide actionable insights from RWE and RWD to support biopharmaceutical RWE and medical trial requests * Clean, transform, and store data into an integrated data lake for future analysis and broader team consumption * Perform data mining and statistical analysis to investigate RWE/RWD to identify new insights about patient populations and treatment outcomes * Support the development of RWE, analytics, and platform capabilities, applying advanced analytics and tools to address medical questions from biopharmaceutical companies * Collaborate on the design and execution of results reports research * Ensure high-quality, rigorous, and easily interpretable deliverables from RWE research and analyses * Build dashboards, analytics, and reports for internal and external consumption * Conduct due diligence on new RWE companies and perform RWD quality checks to inform investment decisions **Essential Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree or graduate degree in a quantitative or computational field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering) * At least 4 years of experience in a quantitative or computational role * 4 years of experience in R, Python, or SQL * Experience in designing and executing strong and reproducible statistical analyses in the context of epidemiology and observational studies with healthcare data * Knowledge of common statistical testing methods, including generalized linear models, classification and discrimination, decision trees, unsupervised learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis * Experience processing large data from diverse data sources * Experience working with protected patient health data * Knowledge of at least one of the following: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, or other business intelligence tools **Preferred Qualifications:** * Ph.D., Master's degree in a field related to data science, biostatistics, computer science, mathematics, systems engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field * Expertise in EMR/Health IT, disease registries, and claims databases * Expertise in clinical data standards, clinical terminologies, and managed vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode) * Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or regulatory compliance guidelines for RWE research or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR) * Experience working with alternative data sources and alternative methods of healthcare data collection, particularly those enabled by technology systems and/or solutions * Experience with experimental design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics * Understanding of data and systems learning techniques, ability to maintain self-learning of technical and non-technical skills **Benefits:** * Company-Paid Life Insurance * Medical, Prescription Drugs, Dental, and Vision * Retirement Savings Plan – 401(k) * Employee Stock Purchase Plan * Paid Time Off (PTO) * Holidays * Paid Parental Leave (PPL) * Transportation Benefit Plan * Employee Store Discount * Voluntary Life & Personal Accident Insurance **Why Join arenaflex?** * Collaborate with a talented team of data scientists, clinicians, and researchers to drive innovation in medical research and patient care * Contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies that improve patient outcomes and quality of life * Enjoy a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters growth, learning, and professional development * Take advantage of comprehensive benefits and perks that support your physical, emotional, and financial well-being * Join a company that is committed to creating more joyful lives through better health **How to Apply:** If you are a motivated and experienced data scientist with a passion for improving patient outcomes and advancing medical research, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
