[Remote] SmartMeter Application Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Intelliswift, an LTTS Company, is seeking a SmartMeter Application Analyst to support IT Application Operations. The role involves analyzing existing SmartMeter application interfaces, diagnosing data and performance faults, and executing maintenance to ensure continuous system operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes existing SmartMeter application interfaces and tools, prepares logical models and procedures, creates SQL code and scheduling scripts, and tests/debugs the application interfaces and tools
• Diagnoses, isolates and corrects data and performance faults in the systems involved
• Prepares and obtains approval of system and development documentation
• Executes planned and ad-hoc corrective maintenance to sustain continuous system operations
• Analyze, evaluate, debug and diagnose bugs, incidents and exceptions in existing SmartMeter applications, interfaces, processes, and procedures
• Identify and correct any discrepancies in the data collected, reported and processed in the SmartMeter systems

Skills

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience designing, deploying, troubleshooting applications, infrastructure technologies, operations support and analysis experience. Experience with design and deployment of large scale and complex infrastructure-application systems
• Experience with Java, Web Applications, Web Service, Oracle, SQL, UIQ/Itron, Linux
• Has familiarity and working knowledge of infrastructure components such as Linux servers, Networks, Backups and Oracle databases
• Has excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Is able to work and communicate across multiple departments
• Has excellent analytical, problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
• Is able to work independently and as part of a team
