The Financial Operations Analyst role involves partnering with various teams to support financial objectives through analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Consolidates, analyzes, and reports monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results and compares them against key performance indicators such as plan, historical results and other specified benchmarks
- Supports assigned regions and lines of business with forecasting, actuals, variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting
- Builds and maintain regional templates and reports to facilitate monthly and quarterly reporting
- Provides analysis for and assists in the preparation of financial presentations for senior leadership meetings
- Supports and assists with the annual and long-term strategic planning processes
- Creates dynamic, insightful reporting using business intelligence tools
- Builds and maintains dashboards and scorecards to support performance visibility and decision making
- Analyzes internal financial data as well as partner and supplier spend to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Drives key initiatives in support of financial objectives relating to revenue, profit and cash flow
- Supports operational finance controls to maintain audit readiness
- Engages on special projects supporting enterprise-wide initiatives as needed
Skills
- Minimum 2-to-3-year financial analyst experience required
- Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, business, or a related subject
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact and effectively communicate with senior management and diverse teams
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and prioritize accordingly
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence and get results without formal authority
- Sound business judgment and ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience with Sage Intacct or comparable ERP / accounting systems
- Experience with Ramp or comparable expense management / spend control platform
- Experience working with financial data (P&L, budgets, forecasting)
- Background in senior living, foodservice, or hospitality
