Zepto Life Technology is seeking a highly motivated Field Sales Representative – Clinical Diagnostics to join our growing commercial team. This role is ideal for an early-career to mid-level sales professional with experience in healthcare, laboratory services, or diagnostics who is eager to build a territory from the ground up in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to generate new clinical laboratory accounts and expand existing business
- Identify, prospect, and engage healthcare providers, hospitals, health systems, and laboratory partners
- Build strong relationships with physicians, laboratory directors, practice managers, and healthcare administrators
- Present and communicate Zepto’s clinical microbiology and molecular diagnostic testing services to clinical stakeholders
- Educate customers on the clinical value of diagnostic testing, including turnaround time, accuracy, and patient care impact
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through account activation and initial adoption
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and activity documentation in CRM systems
- Collaborate closely with laboratory operations, customer service, and leadership to ensure excellent client experience
- Participate in internal sales training, product education, and ongoing commercial development
- Provide market feedback regarding customer needs, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities
- Represent Zepto at industry meetings, conferences, and professional networking events as needed
- Travel approximately 50% within a national territory to support account development and client engagement
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3+ years of experience in field sales, healthcare sales, diagnostics sales, medical device sales, or laboratory services sales
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and generate new business opportunities
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand and communicate clinical or technical concepts to healthcare audiences
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel nationally up to 50%
- Experience in clinical laboratory, microbiology, molecular diagnostics, or infectious disease testing sales
- Familiarity with CLIA-certified laboratory environments and healthcare diagnostic workflows
- Existing relationships within hospital systems, physician groups, or laboratory networks
- Experience selling into multi-stakeholder healthcare environments
- Exposure to startup or high-growth commercial environments
