Job Title: Remote Device Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive RPM Device Specialist (CMA/ RMA) to manage the end-to-end coordination of Remote Patient Monitoring device fulfillment and patient onboarding. This role is responsible for ordering, inventory tracking, device setup, patient education, monitoring connectivity, and troubleshooting device-related issues to ensure seamless program operations and high patient compliance.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, is highly organized, and is comfortable working with both patients and clinical teams to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Device Fulfillment & Inventory Management
• Coordinate RPM device ordering and fulfillment for new patient enrollments
• Track device inventory levels and maintain accurate logs
• Work with vendors to ensure timely shipping and delivery
• Monitor device returns, replacements, and reassignments
Patient Onboarding & Setup
• Contact patients to coordinate device delivery and setup
• Provide clear instructions and education on device usage
• Ensure devices are properly connected and transmitting readings
• Document onboarding completion in appropriate systems
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
• Monitor device connectivity and transmission reports
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly
• Serve as the primary point of contact for device-related patient inquiries
• Coordinate escalations with vendors or clinical teams when necessary
Operational Coordination
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations Managers and care teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in RPM platforms and EHR systems
• Assist in workflow optimization and process improvements
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
Qualifications
Required:
• 1–3 years experience in healthcare operations, RPM, medical devices, or care coordination
• CMA/ RMA certification
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Comfortable speaking with patients over the phone
• Basic technical troubleshooting ability
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
Preferred:
• Experience with Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) programs
• Familiarity with Bluetooth-enabled medical devices
• Knowledge of CMS RPM guidelines

Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour
