What You'll Do
As a vital member of the arenaflex data science team, you will have the exciting opportunity to structure business problems for new and existing customers by applying foundational data science principles to design, test, implement, and develop comprehensive data-based solutions. Your work will encompass reporting, auditing, and architecting massive datasets for advanced statistical analysis that drives strategic decision-making across the organization.
- Apply advanced scientific techniques to design, test, and scale effective, reliable frameworks, systems, and models that improve the usefulness of big data and predictive applications, ensuring scalability and performance at enterprise level
- Research, implement, and test algorithms and tools to solve complex data challenges and enhance the quality and reliability of data pipelines, maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and accuracy
- Develop applications according to specifications by planning, coding, testing, deploying, and iterating on existing systems, following agile methodologies and best practices in software development
- Conduct ongoing research and stay current on emerging improvement techniques, industry trends, and technological advancements in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science methodologies
- Effectively resolve issues and obstacles as they occur, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex systems under pressure

What You'll Need

Essential Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or comparable quantitative fields. A Master's degree is preferred and will be considered a significant advantage
- Technical Foundation: Strong background in both time series analysis and machine learning methodologies, with the ability to apply these techniques to diverse business problems

- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) tools such as Redshift, Snowflake, SageMaker, or other similar cloud-based platforms and data warehousing solutions
- Proven experience translating vague customer requirements into clear problem definitions and effectively communicating these to technical teams
- Advanced programming skills in Python, R, PySpark, Flask, Scala, Java, or similar languages and frameworks
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker for application deployment and scalability
- Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing environments
- Background in e-commerce, retail analytics, or consumer data analysis
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and statistical experiment design
