Sleep apnea affects millions of people, yet far too many patients struggle to adapt to CPAP therapy and ultimately abandon treatment. That’s where this role comes in. Provide individualized coaching on mask comfort, device operation, and therapy expectations. Help patients build confidence and comfort with their equipment so they can achieve consistent nightly use. • *Therapy Troubleshooting** Assist patients experiencing difficulty with therapy by identifying and resolving issues such as mask leaks, pressure intolerance, dryness, aerophagia, or discomfort. Guide patients through adjustments that improve comfort and therapy effectiveness. • *Adherence Monitoring** Proactively monitor PAP therapy data including usage hours, AHI, leak rates, and other key metrics. Identify patients with declining or low adherence and intervene early with targeted support and coaching. • *Clinical Escalation** Collaborate with respiratory therapists, physicians, and advanced practice providers when therapy adjustments or clinical interventions may be required. Escalate cases appropriately when issues exceed routine troubleshooting. • *Patient Outreach** Conduct scheduled follow-up calls and outreach to patients who are early in therapy or experiencing challenges. Ensure patients feel supported and have access to timely assistance. • *Documentation** Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient interactions and interventions within the electronic medical record and related systems. • *Program Development** Support the ongoing development of iSLEEP’s PAP adherence program by identifying patterns, opportunities for improvement, and best practices that enhance patient outcomes.
