Position Overview: Weekend Part-Time Customer Service Representative
We are currently seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative (CSR) to provide outstanding support to customers during what can often be a challenging time in their lives. In this role, you will apply the latest customer service techniques, master our account management systems, and help improve the overall customer experience. This is a part-time remote position offering flexible scheduling options, allowing you to choose shifts that fit your lifestyle while contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service.

Flexible Scheduling Options
We understand that life happens, and flexibility is key to maintaining a healthy work-life balance. That's why arenaflex offers multiple shift options for our weekend CSR positions. You choose the schedule that works best for you! Available shifts (in Central Standard Time) include:
- Weekend Evening Shifts: Saturday & Sunday 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday Only Options: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, or 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Sunday Only Options: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, or 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Full Weekend Shifts: Saturday & Sunday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Work hours typically range from 3 to 29 hours per week, giving you the flexibility to balance other commitments while contributing to our team's success.
Key Responsibilities
As a Weekend Part-Time Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:
Customer Service and Claims Intake
- Provide positive, professional customer service and technical expertise through prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customer information needs
- Offer empathy and support to customers during the claims process, understanding that they may be going through difficult circumstances
- Collect and document all claim details provided by the customer accurately, ensuring completeness and precision
- Identify and resolve customer issues by adhering to client-specific handling instructions and company policies
- Utilize call scripting effectively to ensure consistency and efficiency in handling customer claims and inquiries
- Project a confident, clear, and professional telephone presence in every interaction
Punctuality and Reliability
- Remain available for extended hours or additional shifts during peak periods or emergency situations to provide critical support when needed most
- Adhere strictly to break and lunch schedules to maintain productivity and ensure consistent customer service coverage
- Demonstrate exceptional time management and attendance reliability

Required Skills and Abilities
Language and Communication Skills
- Ability to read and interpret complex documents such as police reports and accident reports
- Capability to write routine correspondence and detailed descriptions with clarity and professionalism
- Ability to project a confident, clear, and professional telephone presence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, providing feedback in a positive, professional manner
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is strongly preferred – this skill will significantly enhance your effectiveness and career opportunities
Computer and Technical Proficiency
- Knowledge of and ability to navigate basic computer functions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems and technologies

Technical and Network Requirements
As this is a remote position, you must meet the following technical requirements:
- Upon hire, a speed test must be run from the computer you will be using for work (via www.speedtest.net)
- While an ethernet connection is not required, it is strongly recommended for optimal performance
- Must work from a private, secure network – public locations are not permitted
- No VPNs are allowed, as all logins must occur within the United States
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
