About The Role The Video Editor role at Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is a creative and collaborative position responsible for producing compelling video content that aligns with the brand’s messaging and marketing strategies. As part of the A&F video team, the successful candidate will work closely with video art directors, social media teams, and other stakeholders to develop content from original footage, supporting campaigns across multiple platforms including social media, web, and internal channels. The role requires a highly organized individual with a passion for video production, social media trends, and storytelling. The Video Editor will be instrumental in editing, organizing, and finalizing video assets, ensuring high-quality output that resonates with target audiences. Additionally, the candidate will support the post-production process, including reviewing footage, sound design, color correction, and delivering assets efficiently for various digital formats. Flexibility to support on-location shoots and assist during content capture is also part of the responsibilities. This position demands a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, innovative problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a focus in film, media, communications, or related fields • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere CC, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder, Photoshop, and Illustrator • Experience with Da Vinci Resolve and general camera knowledge • Post-production expertise in editing, motion graphics, color correction, and sound design • Understanding of codecs, compression, and remote workflows • Familiarity with social media standards and formats • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Creative mindset with awareness of current editing styles and trends • Ability to work independently and adapt in a high-energy, fast-paced environment • Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work • Open-mindedness and receptiveness to feedback • Passion for video production and continuous learning in post-production techniques Responsibilities • Support video and social media teams with content creation, editing, and post-production for marketing campaigns and paid media • Ingest, organize, and manage video assets efficiently for seamless workflow • Create and deliver final edited videos optimized for multiple platforms and formats • Assist in the post-shoot process, including reviewing footage, sound, and music coordination • Support on-location content capture and collaborate with production teams as needed • Work closely with creative teams to conceptualize and communicate original ideas and storytelling approaches • Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and brand alignment in all video content • Stay updated on industry trends, editing styles, and emerging technologies to enhance content quality • Manage multiple projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines • Participate in feedback sessions and incorporate revisions to meet project objectives Benefits • Incentive bonus program • 401(k) savings plan with company match • Annual companywide review process • Flexible spending accounts • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance • Life and disability insurance coverage • Employee assistance program and menta
