Staff Audit Associate

Assurance Dimensions is a licensed and growing CPA firm offering tailored financial business solutions. They are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Audit Associate to join their assurance team, where the role involves assisting in audit procedures and gaining exposure to various industries.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the performance of audit, review, and compilation procedures under supervision
• Prepare workpapers and documentation that support audit conclusions
• Learn to apply accounting and auditing principles to real-world scenarios
• Participate in internal and external meetings with clients and team members
• Assist in gathering and organizing client data and supporting documentation
• Stay current on changes in accounting and auditing standards and firm procedures
• Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and continuous learning

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; 3.0 GPA or higher in major preferred
• Understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards
• Minimum of 1 year of public accounting or audit experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; exposure to audit software is a plus (Case Ware & Idea)
• CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam
