What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Technical Product Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a pivotal role in enabling business transformation through technology. Your responsibilities will span the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization to execution and beyond. Here's what you can expect:
Business Requirements & Analysis
- Gather, develop, design, and maintain business requirements for various projects and systems from inception to final implementation
- Ensure all requirements meet our rigorous quality standards and align with strategic business objectives
- Analyze, prioritize, and manage production systems, programs, and applications to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to elicit requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications
- Convert high-level client requirements into executable, detailed user stories that drive innovation
API Development & Documentation
- Work with business and IT teams to discover and identify APIs across our enterprise ecosystem
- Document requirements for APIs and API consumers with precision and clarity
- Develop test cases for automated test suites to ensure API reliability and performance
- Create comprehensive API documentation that enables internal and external developers to integrate seamlessly
- Experience in API practice/program at an enterprise level is highly valued
Project Execution & Collaboration
- Provide effective project processes and timelines to shorten project life cycles where applicable
- Work with application support and development teams to resolve software bugs and raised issues
- Lead resolution of issues with connecting systems based on various technologies
- Participate in regular project status reviews and provide transparent updates to stakeholders
- Engage directly and daily with delivery teams to execute projects effectively
- Ensure product acceptance and status at key stages of the delivery cycle
Product Ownership
- Create and maintain the product backlog with clear prioritization
- Lead planning sessions with teams to prioritize work in upcoming sprints
- Develop communication materials and lead communication efforts around the product, priorities, and future roadmaps
- Attend and lead design sessions with the product team to shape technical direction

What We're Looking For: Qualifications
Minimum Requirements (Must-Haves)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience developing requirements and test scenarios for automated test suites for APIs
- Demonstrated proficiency with Agile or other rapid application development methodologies
- Technical expertise to apply relevant technical processes to appropriate business needs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into technical solutions
