We're seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Analytics & Data Platforms to lead our Storefront Advanced Analytics & Insights team. The Storefront Advanced Analytics & Insights crew is dedicated to understanding and optimizing purchaser behavior as a key enabler for the corporation to move rapidly and iterate quickly on large-scale business challenges. The Analytics & Data Platforms crew aims to release & enable high-quality Storefront insights and data capabilities at scale, driven by a robust and extensible platform of self-service capabilities across Storefront, resulting in a higher-impact data-driven organization. Our internal clients include all teams and cross-functional partners on Storefront, as well as groups who need to use Storefront data to derive insights and take data-driven actions.
What You'll Do
As our Senior Manager, Analytics & Data Platforms, you'll be at the forefront of transforming raw data into strategic advantages. Here's what your journey will look like:
- Lead a High-Performing Team: Build and manage a team of talented analysts who enable us to construct high-quality Storefront experiences at the arenaflex platform by integrating analytics into the DNA of our product and engineering teams. You'll be the shepherd of analytical excellence across 15+ atomic teams throughout the platform and customer experience lifecycles.
- Drive Strategic Vision: Own and evolve the strategic analytics agenda and delivery roadmap across multiple work streams to release insights and guide the business and technology roadmap. You'll balance immediate business needs with long-term strategic initiatives that position arenaflex as an industry leader.
- Resource Optimization: Prioritize resources, hiring, and team topologies across multiple regions to balance short-term needs with the demands of longer-term initiatives. Your leadership will ensure our team remains agile while building sustainable capabilities.
- Innovative Methodology Development: Build capability to apply new analytical methodologies and techniques to the Storefront space, including reporting on key platform KPIs, measuring new feature adoption and user behaviors, driving quantitative investigations (key driver analysis, feature modeling), and modeling the team's impact on business outcomes.
- Quality & Best Practices: Lead the development and expansion of high-quality practices in areas such as structuring analyses, data model architecture, dashboard design, and data visualizations to communicate meaningful metrics within the systems space.
- Executive Partnership: Partner with and influence senior management across the corporation to contribute to the strategic agenda of the Storefront Platform. Your insights will shape executive decisions and drive organizational alignment.
What You'll Need
We're looking for a leader who brings both technical depth and strategic thinking to the table. To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Essential Qualifications
- Advanced Degree: Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or other quantitative disciplines from a recognized institution.
- Proven Leadership Experience: A minimum of 3+ years total experience with a track record of 2+ years managing platform, product, or enterprise analytics teams. You've successfully led teams through complex challenges and delivered measurable business impact.
- Experimentation Expertise: Hands-on experience in leveraging A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies for effective product launch measurement. You understand how to design, execute, and interpret experiments that drive product decisions.
- Data Modeling Mastery: Experience in architecting and delivering impactful data models for effective platform enablement and customer experience optimization. You can design scalable data structures that power analytics at enterprise scale.
- Technical Proficiency: High comfort level with programming skills in Python and SQL, and experience working with Big Data technologies including BigQuery and visualization tools such as Looker. Familiarity with cloud-based systems, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is highly preferred.
- Communication Excellence: Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences with succinct communication. You can tell compelling stories with data and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Adaptability: Comfortable addressing ambiguity in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities. You thrive in fast-paced settings and remain focused amid complexity.

Compensation & Application
