As a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant within our Cards, Retail, and Merchant Services (CRMS) Operations Analytics group, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming how we approach Small Business Lending and CRMS Operations. About the Role
The Senior Lead Analytics Consultant position represents a unique blend of analytical prowess, strategic thinking, and leadership capability. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to management, helping to shape analytical frameworks that address highly complex business and technical challenges. Your work will extend beyond traditional reporting—you'll be expected to identify opportunities, propose innovative solutions, and lead initiatives that optimize our customer collections processes and operational efficiency.
This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple dimensions of our business, collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to deliver insights that matter. You'll be responsible for developing metrics and reporting structures that not only measure performance but drive actionable change throughout the organization.
What You'll Do
As a key contributor to our Analytics team, you will:
- Act as a strategic consultant to senior management, developing and influencing analytical approaches for highly complex business and technical requirements that span multiple functional areas
- Strategically engage, develop, and maintain strong operating relationships with business partners, stakeholders, and professionals across the organization while serving as an expert advisor to leadership teams
- Lead the strategy and resolution of notably complex and unique challenges, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, innovation, and coordination of multifaceted activities including Business Intelligence and self-service solutions
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior management on implementing revolutionary and significant business solutions that align with organizational objectives and drive measurable outcomes
- Lead critical initiatives, mentor and manage less experienced staff, and coordinate with external contractors to achieve project objectives
- Develop comprehensive metrics and reporting frameworks that identify opportunities for operational improvement and regulatory compliance enhancement
- Create and present compelling data narratives tailored to diverse audiences, translating complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations
Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling, or Statistics—or an equivalent combination of experience, training, military experience, and/or education that demonstrates the required capabilities
- Analytical Expertise: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and translate findings into strategic recommendations
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Project Management: Strong ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
Desired Qualifications

- Technical Proficiency: Advanced degree or skill in Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI, along with proficiency in SAS, Python, and SQL Server development using Management Studio, Integration Services, Reporting Services, and Analysis Services
- Database Experience: Experience working with multiple database systems including Oracle, DB2, and Teradata
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in Financial Services with emphasis on Consumer Lending, including Collections, Servicing, Small Business Lending, Credit Card, Retail Services, Personal Lending, and Deposit products
- Analytical Capabilities: Ability to research, trend/analyze, compile, and execute complex analysis on critical data, then summarize and recommend new approaches and solutions based on those results
- Presentation Skills: Excellent ability to relate a story tailored to audiences with diverse backgrounds through BI and other mediums backed by strong analytics and data
- Adaptability: Ability to handle ambiguity and work independently while navigating changing priorities and requirements
- Collaboration: Experience developing partnerships and participating with other business and functional areas, with the ability to work effectively in team environments across all organizational levels
- Initiative: Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities, and implement change or recommend solutions proactively

Compensation and Benefits
