About the Customer Trust External Relations Team
The CTXR team at arenaflex is dedicated to ensuring a positive public perception of our trusted shopping experience. We help customers make informed purchasing decisions and ensure that every product they choose meets their expectations. An essential part of our charter involves engaging with thought leaders, policymakers, and media outlets to showcase our leadership in business reliability and customer protection. We serve as internal facilitators, helping teams amplify the positive impact of their work while generating creative ideas to enhance external awareness and enthusiasm. We also facilitate and strengthen third-party consulting and partnerships that benefit both our customers and the broader retail industry.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Content & Communications Writer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for creating exceptional content across owned and purchased channels, including websites, emails, press releases, blog posts, newsletters, and other external communications. You'll be a hands-on contributor leading the content strategy, editorial planning, content creation, and content management efforts for some of our most visible initiatives worldwide.
Working closely with internal business stakeholders—including Product Owners, PR teams, and Public Policy experts—you'll develop scalable processes that increase the breadth of information we share with external stakeholders while reducing the time and effort required to publish high-quality content.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the bar for external content — Communicate with key stakeholders about the exciting work arenaflex is doing to protect customers from fraud, counterfeiting, and other forms of abuse
- Support CTXR Program Managers and Marketing Teams — Draft and review business documents while editing grammar, style, and form to ensure they meet arenaflex's rigorous writing standards
- Create comprehensive content plans — Collaborate with Customer Trust Team program leaders to develop editorial calendars and content strategies aligned with business objectives
- Lead internal reviews — Conduct reviews with Customer Trust executives and team leaders to ensure messaging consistency and strategic alignment
- Bridge internal and external perceptions — Work with Product, Technology, and Business teams to define content for external stakeholders, ensuring that public perception accurately reflects our reality
- Develop new customer loyalty content — Create engaging blog posts, newsletters, stories, and press releases that resonate with diverse audiences
- Act as Executive Speech Writer — Manage the creation and delivery of compelling executive-level presentation materials, including slides, talking points, scripts, messaging documents, and customer success stories
- Build your network — Identify and connect with internal and external experts to enrich your content creation efforts
What We're Looking For
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in communications, journalism, or a related field
- Proven experience in corporate communications, public relations, or external affairs
- Strong knowledge and comfort writing in AP Style
- Experience writing website and/or blog content, including using CMS tools
- Strong understanding of writing for specific target audiences, including guidelines for brand voice
- Exceptional content creation skills or background in editing
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience working within a global team with remote partners across different time zones
- Experience working in an Agile environment for content development
- Familiarity with markup languages such as HTML or XML
- Strong commitment to action and ability to balance multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines
- Must provide a writing portfolio or complete a writing exercise as part of the application process
