About the position The Senior Analyst, Commercial Portfolio manages an existing commercial loan portfolio by effectively liaising with internal and external business partners. Responsibilities • Analyze existing complex business and commercial loans and evaluate ongoing performance levels, and ensure compliance to specific performance requirements due to repair, replacement reserve, violations, etc., • Complete financial and repayment analysis with a focus on cash flow, liquidity, and leverage analysis • Partner with borrowers, lenders, legal counsel, commercial loan officers, and servicing regarding commercial real estate finance and loan administration • Request, collect, and review quarterly and annual review documentation • Create and present relevant loan portfolio reports as required, and provide insights and strategic business recommendations • Oversee and maintain compliance monitoring database that tracks credit approval requirements and receipt of member's financial reporting requirements • Research as required to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of products, rates and compliance with regulatory requirements • Manage and process requests relating to various areas of Commercial Lending Servicing; handle escalated requests as required • Participate in and/or lead department projects and initiatives • Mentor other Analysts on a day-to-day basis Requirements • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or other related fields of study is preferred • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an analyst role supporting commercial and/or business lending portfolio analysis; experience evaluating and analyzing complex tax returns • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis methodologies • Demonstrated ability to present complex commercial lending and credit risk related information • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve complex issues with minimal direction • Ability to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines • Strong business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of stakeholders • Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and rapport with internal and external stakeholders • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professionally handle sensitive documents • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Benefits • Traditional medical, dental, and vision coverage • 401K matching up to 5% per pay period • Accrue up to 17 days of Paid Time Off your first year of employment • 11 paid federal holidays • Special employee pricing on lending products such as mortgage, auto, and personal loans (eligibility for special employee pricing is subject to standard account requirements and underwriting criteria)
