What You’ll Do
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud environments. You’ll work with AWS, Kubernetes, containers, cloud-native architectures, and automation tools to modernise applications and infrastructure while mentoring junior engineers and driving innovation.
Architect Solutions: Design and build secure, scalable environments tailored to customer needs.
Modernise Applications: Transition and reshape legacy applications to modern, hyperscaler native architectures, with a focus on Kubernetes and containerisation.
Drive Automation: Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
Champion Innovation: Lead workshops, evaluate new technologies, and share best practices, emerging technologies and trends with your team.
Mentor and Collaborate: Support and mentor junior engineers and contribute to our knowledge-sharing culture.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone passionate about cloud engineering with the skills and experience to match:
Extensive expertise in AWS, with hands-on experience transforming legacy applications using cloud native principles to run optimally and efficiently within hyperscaler environments.
Demonstrable experience in Kubernetes, Containerisation, Terraform, DevSecOps and GitOps principles.
Broad understanding of software development practices and architecture, including microservices and 12-factor principles, with familiarity across programming languages and frameworks
A problem solver who values collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.

HashiCorp Terraform Associate
HashiCorp Terraform Authoring and Operations Professional
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKSS)
Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale, secure cloud environments.
Understanding of software development processes and application design patterns
Understanding of common languages and frameworks (Java/Spring, .NET Core, Python, NodeJS, Go or other)
Considered Qualifications
Advanced certifications in other hyperscalers (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
