Pinnacle Talent Placement is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Python Engineer to join a cross-functional engineering team focused on building scalable cloud-native applications. The role emphasizes Python backend development while contributing to full-stack solutions and high-quality automated testing practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Python
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
- Contribute to full-stack development, integrating backend services with modern UI frameworks
- Implement automated testing strategies including unit and integration tests
- Develop and deploy applications in cloud environments (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
- Implement Infrastructure as Code for cloud resource management
- Optimize performance and reliability of distributed services
- Collaborate with SRE, product, and engineering teams across global time zones
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design
- Lead technical design discussions and architecture decisions
- Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices
- Drive technical ownership of data workflows end-to-end
Skills
- Strong professional experience developing backend services in Python
- Experience building REST APIs and microservices using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications in cloud environments (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable)
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience implementing automated testing using frameworks such as pytest or unittest
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Bicep, Terraform, Pulumi, or ARM templates
- Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience working in collaborative engineering environments and distributed teams
- Strong communication skills for technical and business interaction
- Ability to work effectively with India-based and global teams
- Problem-solving with a holistic, end-to-end perspective
- Experience with data processing libraries (Pandas / Polars)
- Experience with gRPC services
- Experience building systems that process large datasets
- Knowledge of application security patterns
- Experience integrating Excel or data-heavy workflows into applications
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools
