Our client, a global leader in its industry, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Remote Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to optimize its end-to-end supply chain operations. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage complex logistical networks and strategic sourcing from anywhere in the US. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement to delivery, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic sourcing plans, negotiating contracts with suppliers and logistics providers, and managing inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing costs. You will analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement, implement process enhancements, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and transportation costs. Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders will be essential. You will oversee the coordination of domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and trade laws. This role also involves risk management, identifying potential disruptions in the supply chain and developing contingency plans. Leveraging technology and software solutions to improve supply chain visibility, efficiency, and reporting will be a significant part of your work. You will also be responsible for managing the budget for supply chain operations and reporting on financial performance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP, CLTD) preferred. Minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations, with a proven track record of success. Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation. Experience with supply chain software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics tracking. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions and geographies.
