Dice is seeking an experienced Data Analytics Analyst with a strong background in the healthcare industry to develop reporting and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders to transform complex healthcare data into meaningful insights and interactive dashboards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries to extract data from multiple healthcare systems and databases
- Design and build interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for operational, financial, and executive leadership
- Analyze healthcare data to identify trends, improve business performance, and support organizational decision-making
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Re-engineer and enhance existing reports and analytics solutions
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms
- Support ad hoc reporting requests, including billing, scheduling, productivity, and operational metrics
- Create documentation for reporting processes, data definitions, and workflows
- Participate in data quality initiatives and troubleshooting efforts
Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or Data Analytics Analyst
- Healthcare or clinical industry experience is required
- Advanced SQL skills with experience querying multiple relational databases
- Strong experience developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI
- Experience aggregating and transforming data from multiple data sources
- Strong understanding of data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence concepts
- Experience supporting operational, financial, and executive reporting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with healthcare EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Athena, Allscripts, eClinicalWorks (eCW), or similar
- Experience with Radiology Information Systems (RIS), PACS, or imaging workflows
- Knowledge of Intelerad, MedInformatix, Groupcast, or similar healthcare applications
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing, and real-time transactional data
- Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy regulations
