CrowdStrike is a global leader in cybersecurity, and they are seeking a passionate and strategic Sr. Competitive Intelligence Analyst to support their cloud security portfolio. The role involves partnering with Product, Sales, and cross-functional leaders to inform roadmap decisions and guide go-to-market strategies in a competitive landscape.
Responsibilities
- Synthesize and formulate guidance from a variety of information levels and sources (technical, business, field, external) and regularly present key takeaways to the field and to senior leadership
- Provide a field-actionable, in-depth and ever-evolving understanding and analysis of cloud security market relative to CrowdStrike solutions and capabilities
- Provide tailored deal support (competitive surgeries & guidance), and develop a deep rapport with the field
- Work closely with the rest of the Competitive Intelligence team at CrowdStrike, as well as other key stakeholders (including the office of the CTO, sales, product, and marketing teams), functioning as a primary liaison for cloud security competition which includes development of competitive support material and competitive readiness plans
- Make recommendations on sales tactics and product strategy to enable CrowdStrike to win in the market
- Be a self-starter with an ownership mentality. You will work autonomously in the development of project plans, requirements, timelines, content, and ongoing tracking/updates of the cloud competitive landscape
- Conduct win/loss analysis, using both quantitative and qualitative data source to determine why CrowdStrike wins and loses vs the competition
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the cloud security market with heavy emphasis on CNAPP including CSPM, CWPP, and CIEM, with compliance and cybersecurity risk management
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on building experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and either Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience (Ideal candidates will have experience in at least TWO of the following): cloud architect, sales engineer/pre-sales, competitive intelligence, solution architect, product management, technical marketing, and product marketing
- Proven ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into field actionable guidance and executive summaries
- Superior communication skills including experience presenting to senior & executive level management
- Excellent people and project management skills to manage projects and interact/build rapport with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
- Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- AWS Certified Security - Specialty
- Security certifications issued by GIAC, CompTIA, ISACA, or (ISC)
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code
- Direct experience with customers (as a customer, or in a customer support or field role)
