They are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to enhance their dynamic team, driving the growth and evolution of operations through the development and maintenance of innovative web applications and their underlying infrastructures.
Responsibilities
- Drive the expansion of our operations by designing, developing, and maintaining user-friendly web applications, encompassing both front-end interfaces and the backend services and data models that support them
- Make informed technology choices that meet our business objectives while maintaining high standards of security, privacy, and quality
- Upgrade existing systems to introduce new features, and enhance performance, stability, quality, and security
- Champion high-quality standards, improve the codebase, and mitigate technical debt
- Develop a deep understanding of user needs and maintain a focus on user-centric design
- Communicate effectively within and on behalf of our multidisciplinary product delivery teams, collaborating with designers, product managers, machine learning experts, and infrastructure engineers, and seizing opportunities to engage with projects across the organization
Skills
- Over 5 years of experience in developing, deploying, and managing web applications at scale, with insights into effective practices and pitfalls
- Leadership experience as a principal engineer on significant software components or systems, demonstrating a capacity for making impactful decisions
- A keen interest in our technology stack, which includes NodeJS (Typescript) and React on Google Cloud (GCP)
- The ability to work independently and in a team setting, guiding projects with minimal supervision
- A proactive attitude towards contributing across various aspects of our projects, embracing the fast-paced nature of a growing startup
- An eagerness to learn and adapt
