[Remote] Senior Data Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to turn complex data into clear insights that improve member impact, personalization, and measurement. In this role, you will own analytics end to end, partner across teams on KPIs and dashboards, and report to the Director of Strategy and Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full analytics lifecycle: requirement gathering, data collection, data modeling, visualization, analysis, and actionable insights
• Identify issues, form hypotheses, and run deep-dive analyses to convert data into actionable insights and recommendations for internal partners
• Enable the organization to stay highly data-driven as it scales by delivering ad hoc analyses, conducting research, and building reports and KPI dashboards for real-time performance monitoring
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand analytical needs, including defining critical success metrics and KPIs, and provide actionable insights that support business strategy
• Structure complex and ambiguous strategic problems into clear analytical approaches
• Monitor key performance metrics and determine root causes of metric changes

Skills

• Proficiency in data collection, data modeling, and visualization
• Hands-on experience performing ad hoc analyses and carrying out research
• Demonstrated ability to build reports and KPI dashboards for real-time performance monitoring
• Strong capability to define critical success metrics and KPIs
• Proven track record of structuring complex and ambiguous strategic problems
• Solid understanding of root causes behind shifts in key performance metrics
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
