Atlantic Partners Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Non-Technical Contract Writer to create, review, and maintain contracts and related business documentation. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to ensure documents are accurate and compliant with company policies.
Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and format contracts, agreements, and business documents
- Review contract language for clarity, consistency, and completeness
- Collaborate with legal, procurement, HR, finance, and business stakeholders to gather requirements
- Maintain contract templates and standard clauses
- Ensure documents comply with organizational policies and applicable regulations
- Track document revisions and maintain version control
- Proofread contracts to eliminate grammatical and formatting errors
- Assist with contract administration and document management
- Respond to requests for contract modifications and updates
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in contract writing, business writing, legal documentation, or document management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong proofreading and editing abilities
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Experience working with legal, procurement, or compliance teams
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) software
- Knowledge of standard business and contractual terminology
- Experience creating document templates and style guides
