Remote Non-Profit Program Director - Community Impact

Our client, a dedicated non-profit organization focused on enhancing community well-being, is seeking a passionate and experienced Remote Program Director. This is a fully remote position, allowing the ideal candidate to contribute impactful leadership from anywhere within the US. The Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of key community programs designed to achieve the organization's mission. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep commitment to social impact. Key Responsibilities: Lead the strategic direction and operational management of the organization's core community programs. Develop and implement program goals, objectives, and measurable outcomes in alignment with the organization's mission and strategic plan. Oversee program budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and responsible financial management. Manage and mentor program staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, funders, and beneficiaries. Design and implement program evaluation frameworks to measure impact and identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with grant requirements and reporting obligations to funders. Identify and pursue new funding opportunities through grant writing and proposal development. Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and conferences. Stay informed about best practices in non-profit management and program delivery within the relevant sector. Communicate program progress, successes, and challenges to the board of directors and other key stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Non-profit Management, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred. A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in program management or leadership within the non-profit sector is essential. Proven track record of successfully developing, implementing, and managing community-focused programs is required. Strong understanding of program evaluation methodologies and data analysis is critical. Excellent financial management skills, including budget development and oversight, are necessary. Demonstrated experience in grant writing and fundraising is highly desirable. Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills are vital. The ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities effectively, and maintain strong communication in a remote setting is paramount.
