They are seeking a highly motivated Communications Intern to contribute to a high-impact project aimed at elevating their brand presence and positioning for inclusion in the Forbes Top Recruiting Firms list.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on the Forbes Top Recruiting Firms methodology, criteria, and past honorees
- Analyze competitors and industry best practices in marketing and brand positioning for executive search firms
- Identify key trends and opportunities to enhance Naviga's brand visibility and reputation
- Support the planning and execution of a strategic campaign to encourage our network to vote for Naviga for the Forbes Top Recruiting Firms list
- Utilize our CRM system (Bullhorn) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) distribution lists to identify and segment contacts for targeted outreach
- Draft compelling email content and social media posts to motivate our network (clients, candidates, partners) to participate in the voting process
- Monitor campaign performance and report on key metrics
- Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, press releases, case studies, and social media updates
- Support the creation of compelling narratives that highlight Naviga's unique value proposition, success stories, and industry expertise
- Help develop and organize internal resources and data points relevant to Forbes submission requirements
- Assist in managing and scheduling content for Naviga's social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) with a focus on engaging our target audience and promoting brand authority
- Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for increased engagement, particularly around the Forbes voting initiative
- Support website updates and ensure content is fresh, accurate, and SEO-friendly
- Assist in identifying media opportunities and relevant industry publications for potential features or thought leadership contributions
- Support the development of media lists and outreach strategies
- Help organize and maintain marketing collateral and research documents
- Assist with various administrative tasks related to the Forbes initiative and overall marketing efforts
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new marketing campaigns and strategies
Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) and an understanding of their use in a professional context
- Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information effectively
- Proactive, self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Enthusiasm for learning about the executive search industry and a desire to contribute to a growing company
- Basic understanding of SEO principles is a plus
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
