About the Role Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking construction management firm, is seeking an experienced Lead Construction Scheduler to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This critical role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules for complex construction projects nationwide. The Lead Scheduler will collaborate closely with project managers, owners, and other stakeholders to ensure effective planning, resource allocation, and timely project completion. This is a remote-first opportunity, requiring exceptional organizational skills and the ability to foster strong communication and collaboration in a virtual environment. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in scheduling software and methodologies, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a proven track record of success in managing intricate construction timelines. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed, logic-driven construction project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project. Perform critical path analysis, resource leveling, and identify potential schedule risks and opportunities. Collaborate with project teams to gather necessary information for schedule updates and progress reporting. Prepare and present comprehensive schedule updates, look-ahead schedules, and delay analysis reports. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project milestones and timelines. Assist in the development of baseline schedules and support claims and change order management. Mentor and guide junior schedulers and project engineers on scheduling best practices. Ensure compliance with contractual scheduling requirements and company standards. Stay current with advancements in scheduling software and techniques. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction scheduling, with a significant focus on large-scale projects. Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing across various project types. Experience with forensic schedule analysis and delay claims is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Superior communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, adapted for remote work. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting. Knowledge of contract administration and project management principles.
