RSM Solutions, Inc. is seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee infrastructure operations across multiple sites in the manufacturing and distribution sector. The role involves leading a team, managing incidents, and driving improvements in infrastructure health while collaborating with other technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day infrastructure operations across a multi-site manufacturing and distribution environment
- Serve as the escalation point for infrastructure incidents/outages, and complex technical problems
- Drive root-cause analysis, corrective action, infrastructure health reporting, and operational improvements across the site footprint
- Provide leadership (while still being hands on) and escalation support across network, server, identity, backup, monitoring, telecom, endpoint, and manufacturing/OT connectivity services
- Manage a team of 3 (a mix of Sys Admin & Network Admin) and collaborate with the Help Desk team and Cyber Security Team. This includes providing technical mentorship, leadership coaching, performance feedback, career development, and corrective action when needed
- Own infrastructure documentation, configuration management discipline, and operating standards
- Develop and manage the infrastructure roadmap in partnership with IT leadership
- Lead or oversee infrastructure projects depending on size, complexity, and resource needs
- Manage project intake, prioritization, resource planning, lifecycle planning, and execution
- Support annual capital and operating budget planning for infrastructure needs
- Manage selected infrastructure vendors, MSPs, carriers, and technology partners in partnership with Procurement and IT leadership
Skills
- 7+ years of progressive infrastructure experience, including 3+ years of prior people management
- Experience leading infrastructure operations in a multi-site manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment
- Demonstrated ability to provide hands-on technical leadership while managing priorities and developing staff
- Recent experience with Cisco Meraki, VoIP platforms, infrastructure monitoring tools, Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, AD, M365, Windows Server, backup/recovery platforms, PowerShell, Azure CLI, and remote desktop services
- Certifications like Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, CCNA, ITIL, CISSP, PMP, or similar
- Experience improving infrastructure standardization across a decentralized/mixed-standard site footprint
