[Remote] HR Operations Specialist

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an HR Operations Specialist to support their HR Operations team. This role focuses on employee inquiries, providing Tier 1 HR support, and maintaining HR data integrity while ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR guidance, information, and education to employees at all levels while delivering exceptional customer service
• Manage a high volume of employee requests and ServiceNow tickets
• Deliver personalized employee support through:
• Chat
• Phone
• Case management
• Research company policies and programs to provide accurate guidance
• Coach employees on internal tools and self-service resources
• Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) on more complex issues
• Collaborate cross-functionally across HR teams
• Perform HR data processing
• Complete Workday transactions
• Build and process Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs)
• Run Workday reports
• Maintain HR data integrity
• Perform regular HR audits
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes
• Help optimize workflows
• Support AI-driven automation initiatives
• Document and map new HR processes
• Support the Contingent Workforce Program
• Handle Tier 1 contingent workforce inquiries
• Support Critical Systems Access Background Check processes
• Apply end-to-end knowledge of HR systems
• Mitigate operational risks

Skills

• BA/BS Degree
• Minimum 2 years of HR Operations experience
• Previous Workday experience (2–3 years minimum)
• Experience creating Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs)
