WorkGenius Group is a technology and software engineering company seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer specializing in AI and full-stack development. The role involves collaborating with enterprise clients to develop and implement technical solutions, focusing on AI applications and full-stack systems.
Responsibilities
- Embed directly with enterprise client teams to scope, build, and deploy technical solutions
- Design and ship AI and LLM-powered applications, including GenAI integrations, agents, RAG pipelines, and automation workflows
- Build full-stack solutions spanning APIs, data pipelines, and front-end interfaces
- Translate ambiguous business requirements into working technical solutions on a fast timeline
- Own delivery end to end, from prototyping through stakeholder iteration to production hardening
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to client engineering and business teams
Skills
- 3 to 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong full-stack skills, including Python and/or TypeScript, modern frameworks such as React, Node, or FastAPI, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs, including OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models, prompt engineering, RAG, and agent frameworks
- Consultative mindset with comfort presenting work directly to clients and providing pushback when needed
- Proven ability to deliver in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with minimal oversight
- US-based with authorization to work in the United States
- Prior forward deployed, solutions engineering, or technical consulting experience
- Experience with vector databases, fine-tuning, or ML ops
- Data engineering background, including dbt, Airflow, Spark, or warehouse platforms
