Position Overview The EPC Director / Project Executive serves as the on-the-ground leader responsible for driving construction execution across large-scale, mission-critical data center projects. Reporting to senior construction leadership, this individual will oversee field operations, manage subcontractor performance, and ensure alignment across safety, schedule, quality, and delivery objectives. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong field judgment, operational discipline, and the ability to drive execution across complex, fast-paced build environments. Key Responsibilities Site Leadership & Execution • Lead on-site construction activities from early works through final delivery across multiple project locations • Drive daily execution to meet schedule, production, and performance targets • Maintain accountability across site teams to ensure consistency and operational discipline Subcontractor & Partner Management • Oversee major subcontractors and construction partners in the field • Ensure adherence to contract terms, safety standards, quality expectations, and schedule commitments • Resolve field issues proactively to maintain project momentum Planning & Coordination • Develop and execute construction sequencing, work packages, and production plans • Align field operations with broader program objectives and timelines • Identify risks early and drive solutions to support efficient delivery Reporting & Performance Management • Provide regular updates on construction progress, risks, and site performance • Deliver field-driven insights to support leadership decision-making • Contribute to the development of scalable execution practices across projects Qualifications Required • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field • 15+ years of construction management experience on large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing major subcontractors • Strong field leadership with the ability to drive execution in high-visibility environments • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and operational discipline Preferred • Experience in a data center or mission-critical construction • Background serving as EPC Director, Project Executive, or senior field leader • Experience with advanced construction methodologies (AWP, modular construction) • Experience managing large-scale EPC contracts Location & Structure • Remote, with preference for Dallas–Fort Worth or Houston, TX • ~80% travel required (significant on-site presence across project locations) • Contract role with potential for long-term conversion Why This Opportunity • * Lead field execution on large-scale AI infrastructure projects • High-impact role with direct influence on project delivery • Work across multiple major construction sites • Opportunity to grow within a rapidly scaling infrastructure platform About Augmentis Augmentis is a specialized talent solutions firm focused on delivering high-impact professionals across Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Engineering, and Operations.
