The Engineer I acquires limited knowledge and develops basic skills in this position, applying prescribed techniques and procedures to perform assigned tasks and routine technical work.
Responsibilities
- Collect data and/or documents
- Perform standard computations or analysis
- Prepare or review drawings and visual aids
- Review engineers should be able to work independently on tasks and use appropriate discretion to elevate concerns and before reaching out to the client
- Observe construction activities
- This position may require travel. On occasion, travel to RailPros headquarters, field offices, client offices, work sites and other project related locations may be required

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program
- Proficiency with electronic communication including email and text, as well as standard office applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Possess basic oral and written communication skills
- Interact with other staff
- No experience required
- Engineer in Training (EIT); could be obtained while in this category
