BioPharma Resource Groups, LLC employs analysts dedicated to delivering elite competitive intelligence resources to cardio-metabolic and oncology drug & device companies. They are currently recruiting for a Disease Area Analyst for Oncology who will independently manage coverage of assigned hematologic oncology indications and collaborate with other analysts and senior consultants.
Responsibilities
- Gather and synthesize information from scientific literature, company financial documents, internet searches, conference proceedings, proprietary databases, and more
- Organize and analyze information about pipeline products in clinical development and on-market products
- Attend key medical conferences and write reports summarizing and analyzing the clinical results presented
- Write and edit market research reports, working in collaboration with their manager to ensure quality and timely delivery within their covered indication(s)
- Engage with clients, understand their research priorities, and respond to client inquiries and advisory requests with timely, expert responses
Skills
- A research focused PhD or Post-Doc (or equivalent qualification) in a biomedical discipline or related science and/or 2-3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or pharmaceutical consulting role
- Exemplary attention to detail, coupled with the ability to see and understand the big picture
- A high level of integrity: trustworthy, honorable, dependable, honest, and kind
- Strong scientific acumen and the ability to apply that acumen to the real world, communicating clearly how scientific understanding fits into the larger landscape of health and human disease
- Experience with or knowledge of oncology
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work on regular, planned deadlines
- Excellent writing skills, including the ability to write about scientific information in a manner accessible to both scientists and non-scientists, concisely conveying complicated information
- The ability to draft effective presentations using appropriate figures, tables, and exhibits
- Excellent quantitative analysis skills and competency with Microsoft Office products (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- An aptitude for working well on teams, communicating proactively with colleagues and clients, and helping to set and meet realistic deadlines
- Character traits of being professional, personable, and friendly: someone to whom we could introduce our clients
- Familiarity with hematologic malignancies
- Familiarity with FileMaker, Adobe Acrobat
