Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Novolex is a leading manufacturer of food, beverage, and specialty packaging that supports multiple industries. They are seeking a Deduction Analyst to review customer deductions, perform audits of customer claims, and communicate with customers to resolve deductions in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Review customer deductions and categorize to appropriate codes
- Perform the audit of customer claims, ensuring the backup and authorization presented are acceptable and within departmental guidelines and Pactiv policy
- Understand customer contracts and highlight if contract not in accordance with the one face policy
- Proactively communicate information and provide resources to internal and external customers to resolve deductions in a timely manner
- Identify all invalid customer claims, commence the recovery process and take preventative measures to eliminate future deductions
- Report out exceptions and drive compliance
- Identify opportunity to drive efficiencies
- Verifies data accuracy ensuring that transactions are properly supported and in accordance with internal policies and SOX initiatives
- Research, plan and assist in the implementation of changes
- Assist in special projects as assigned
Skills
- AS degree with an emphasis in finance or accounting or High School diploma with at least 2 years finance or customer service experience
- Excellent knowledge of systems (SAP, Excel, Word), display strong team skills, excellent follow-up, telephone and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, problem solve and prioritize to meet deadlines
