Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CodeX Tech-IT LLC is seeking a data-driven Data Analyst to join their team. This role involves bridging the gap between complex data and strategic business decisions by querying databases, building dashboards, and translating metrics into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Data Visualization & Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain automated dashboards and KPI scorecards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to track business health
- Data Retrieval & Analysis: Write clean, efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple relational databases
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Operations) to understand their data needs, define success metrics, and deliver analytical support
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify market trends, customer behavior patterns, and operational bottlenecks, presenting findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Data Quality Assurance: Partner with Data Engineering to ensure data integrity, perform data cleaning, and troubleshoot reporting discrepancies
Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of professional experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role
- SQL Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, JOINs, subqueries, and aggregations)
- Visualization: Hands-on experience building production-level dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Analytics Tools: Solid understanding of Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and experience using Python or R for data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy)
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical insights to business leaders
- Experience working with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Amazon Redshift
- Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines and data modeling concepts
- Experience utilizing version control systems like Git
