Position Overview

We are currently hiring fully remote Outbound and Inbound Customer Service Representatives to join our mortgage campaigns team. This position offers the unique opportunity to work from home while representing a trusted name in the mortgage and financial services industry. The ideal candidate will be comfortable making outbound calls, handling customer inquiries, and providing top-notch service to homeowners and potential clients.

Location Requirements: This is a fully remote position, but candidates must reside in one of the following metropolitan areas: Tempe, AZ; Woodbridge, VA; Marlton, NJ; or Boca Raton, FL.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence in customer care. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Outbound Calling: Make outbound calls through our automated dialer system on specific mortgage campaigns. You will be expected to handle upwards of 50+ calls daily, reaching out to potential clients and existing customers to discuss mortgage options, answer questions, and provide information about our financial products and services.
  • Inbound Customer Support: Receive and handle inbound customer calls with professionalism and empathy. Listen attentively to understand the nature of each inquiry and ensure each customer receives the assistance they need.
  • Needs Assessment: Identify and analyze customer needs by asking probing questions and actively listening to their concerns. Determine the appropriate course of action and route customers to the correct department or specialist when necessary.
  • Problem Resolution: Handle customer service inquiries and problems with a solution-oriented mindset. Work to resolve issues on the first call whenever possible, escalating complex matters to supervisory staff when appropriate while maintaining detailed records of all interactions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions in our CRM system. Ensure that customer information is current, complete, and properly documented for future reference and follow-up.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of our mortgage products, rates, terms, and services. Stay updated on industry regulations, policies, and best practices to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to customer service and data privacy. Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED is required. Some college education or relevant certifications in business, finance, or communications is a plus.
  • Availability: Must be available to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. You will be assigned a specific shift based on business needs and must be flexible to potentially work occasional half days on Saturdays as required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1-2+ years of outbound customer service or call center experience is required. You must be comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and managing your time effectively to meet daily call targets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to speak clearly, concisely, and professionally. Strong active listening skills and the ability to adapt your communication style to meet the needs of diverse customers.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office applications, and telephone systems. Must have a reliable home office setup including a quiet workspace, high-speed internet connection, and appropriate equipment.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet and handle unexpected situations professionally.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following experience and skills are highly preferred and will strengthen your application:

  • Outbound Dialing and Collections Experience: Previous experience in outbound dialing, collections, or debt recovery is highly preferred. You should be comfortable handling rejection, staying persistent, and maintaining a positive attitude even in challenging conversations.
  • Mortgage, Banking, or Financial Industry Experience: Prior experience in the mortgage, banking, or financial services industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with financial terminology, loan products, and customer financial needs is a significant advantage.
  • Telemarketing and Sales Experience: Background in telemarketing, phone sales, cold calling, or timeshare sales is preferred. Experience meeting sales quotas or performance targets is a plus.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms to track customer interactions and manage leads.
