They are seeking a skilled Copywriter I to create engaging marketing content across multiple channels, ensuring alignment with the company's brand and messaging.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and develop creative and persuasive copy for marketing campaigns, advertisements, websites, emails, social media, corporate collateral, and other channels
- Collaborate closely with designers, Integrated Marketing, Website team, and other teams to understand project requirements, target audience, and objectives
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, grammar, consistency, and brand voice and tone adherence
- Understand and follow AP Style Guides for copy consistency and adherence
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in copywriting and digital marketing
- Conduct research and interviews to understand customer needs and market trends
- Follow an established content calendar to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Follow an established copy standards playbook to adhere to content consistency
Skills
- 1+ years of proven experience as a Copywriter in B2B technology companies, IT/AV distribution or reseller preferred
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to adapt writing style to various tones, voices, and platforms
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in SEO principles and content optimization
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to work closely and successfully with a sales organization
- Ability to work very independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Rigorous attention to detail and focus on quality of deliverables
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across sales, marketing and external vendors and associates
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
- Knowledge of the IT technology industry is a bonus
