Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Quince is a tech company disrupting the retail industry by leveraging AI, analytics, and automation. The Business Development Representative will qualify inbound leads, proactively prospect new business opportunities, and contribute to the sales pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Lead Qualification: Assess and qualify all inbound leads to determine their potential and readiness for engagement
- Prospecting: Identify and target new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach across assigned territories. You will be given a list of target accounts, and your goal will be to source the right contacts and secure meetings for Account Executives
- Outreach: build target contact lists for marketing, send personalized emails, and conduct social media outreach to connect with potential clients and schedule meetings for the sales team
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with prospects to understand their needs and how Quince can meet them
- CRM Management: Accurately document all interactions and updates in our CRM system to ensure a seamless handoff to the sales team
- Trade Shows: Attend quarterly Trade Shows with the Head of Sales. Must be able to represent and sell the Quince brand in person for live lead generation
- Bias Towards Technology: Scale qualifications and outreach using technology. Bring new ideas to the table on how to best use AI and technology to achieve your goals
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to effectively communicate Quince’s value proposition
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in a sales or lead generation role, preferably in a B2B environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
