[Remote] Business Analyst I (REMOTE - Austin Texas)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. First Citizens Bank is seeking a Business Analyst I for a remote role based in Austin, Texas. This position focuses on performing data analysis to enhance business profitability and efficiency, while supporting operations and identifying improvements through technical reporting.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output
• Operational Support - Provides support for business unit by responding to inquiries, identifying issues, and working to improve standard practices. Assists in implementing recommended modifications and enhancements
• Identifying Objectives - Determines overall business needs through analysis and reporting. May identify strategies to achieve company and department goals, and assist in creating specifications, project plans, or other forms of documentation to communicate business initiatives to wider work group
• Reporting - Produces reports based on data analysis, industry trends, and process capabilities. Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of experience in Analytics, or Operations, or Support
• High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of experience in Analytics, or Operations, or Support
• Prior FCB Intern experience as a Digital Products Intern on the Digital Products Experience (DPX) team during the 2025 Summer Internship Program
