They are seeking a skilled Beaker (Lab) Clinical Application Analyst Senior to support IT EMR Services, ensuring system integrity and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet operational needs. Responsibilities
- Interpret, analyze, and design system data to maintain and enhance application functionality while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Proactively resolve system issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions within IT Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Mentor junior analysts, maintain certifications, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Monitor system integration, participate in cross-functional testing, and ensure application security aligns with organizational and regulatory standards
- Lead or support IT projects, including system upgrades, testing, and implementation, while adhering to project management methodologies
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support departmental goals
- Required to rotate 24/7 on-call duties and respond immediately to trouble calls outside of general work hours
- Work occasionally may require an excess of eight hours per day, plus weekend work
- Workload and deadline pressure will regularly subject the incumbent to moderate to high job-related stress
- Occasional overnight travel may be required for training, evaluating vendor systems at other customer sites, or industry conferences
- This position will primarily work remotely(within the USA) from home, but must be able to travel to campus and/or University Towers to attend meetings and support application analyst staff to meet our Service Level Agreements
Skills
- High School diploma/GED plus nine (9) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two
- Associate degree in a Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field plus seven (7) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two
- Bachelor's degree in a Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field plus five (5) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two
- Postgraduate degree in a Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field, plus three (3) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two
- Epic Willow Inpatient certification required
- Proficiency in Breaker/Epic Willow Inpatient and related applications
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Ability to document and implement system changes while providing guidance to operational users
- Experience in project management and cross-team collaboration
- Must have an aptitude for technical tasks and project management
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of drug formulary, dispensing and ordering methods & products and processes, and procedures used in a Pharmacy required to develop, configure, test, document, and implement a Pharmacy system
- The ability to lead meetings, resolve conflicts, maintain issue lists, and manage a project plan
- The ability to probe for information about the underlying needs of the organization and user community directly influences how the system will be utilized
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
