The role involves ensuring the accuracy and thoroughness of background checks for registrants, clients, and courts while managing sensitive information and maintaining effective communication with all involved parties.
Responsibilities
- Process Background Screenings: Review, process, and complete multiple background screenings daily
- Accuracy Verification: Compare screening data with various forms of identification to ensure accuracy
- Research and Analysis: Investigate and analyze detailed records and documents to resolve discrepancies or incomplete information
- Case Management: Manage ongoing casefiles using various research methods and tools
- Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous and confidential records, ensuring effective documentation and note-taking
- Confidentiality Management: Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost care and discretion
- Goal Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed assigned goals and performance metrics
- Cross-functional Communication: Communicate effectively with courts, and other stakeholders
- Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks and responsibilities as required
Skills
- Strong understanding of general computer skills, including web applications and web-based research methods
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other productivity tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally
- At least 1 year of employment experience in a professional setting
- Minimum of 1 year of college education from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
- Self-Starter: Tenacious, goal-oriented, and able to work independently to accomplish tasks
- Team Player: Collaborative and able to work well within a team environment
- Experience in researching and analyzing detailed records and documents
- Ability to quickly switch between tasks and adapt to changes in business processes and technology
