[Remote] AWS Data Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Polar IT is a staffing company supporting Carilion, an award-winning community-based network of hospitals. They are looking for an AWS Data Engineer to join their Health Analytics team, responsible for collaborating with stakeholders, maintaining dashboards, and analyzing data.

Responsibilities

• Working with stakeholder's to understand and gather requirements to provide to data engineer team members
• Creating new and maintaining dashboards using Tableau
• Providing visual insights into KPIs and business metrics
• Using SQL to analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
• Making sure the data is validated and matches correctly

Skills

• 6+ years of Data Engineer experience working with Python
• Git/Git Actions, AWS stack (Code commit, s3, Lamda, Code Repository, Code pipeline), working with APIs and has built CI/CD pipelines
• Tableau experience is nice to have
• Nice to have- Snowflake and Tableau
