Principal Product Manager
Reports to: President & COO

Overview
BombBomb pioneered video messaging to help relationship-driven professionals build authentic connections.
Now, we're at an inflection point.
After years of success, we are facing the challenge many SaaS companies encounter as markets evolve: engagement is too low, churn is too high, and growth has stalled.
We believe there is significant opportunity ahead, but the path forward is not yet fully defined. Determining that future is one of the most important challenges facing the company.
This transformation requires more than feature development.
It requires deep customer understanding, relentless prioritization, disciplined product execution, and a clear product strategy that drives retention, migration, expansion, and growth.
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead that effort.
You will own rebuilding our product strategy, roadmap direction, customer discovery, prioritization, and cross-functional alignment as BombBomb evolves into its next chapter.
Your mission:
Build the product strategy, roadmap, and customer experiences that help BombBomb return to growth and become the market-leading relationship platform for relationship-driven professionals.
Why This Role Matters Now
BombBomb is making a deliberate shift:
From broad, horizontal use cases → focused ICP
From standalone product → integrated relationship workflows
From video utility → AI-powered relationship enablement platform
From revenue decline → sustainable growth
Today, we face several critical challenges:
Product investments are spread across multiple platforms and customer segments
Migration from a Classic product to our updated BombBomb 3.0 remains a top business priority
Retention and expansion must improve to support growth
AI creates both opportunity and competitive pressure
Every product investment must generate measurable business impact
Success requires a product leader who can connect customer needs, business outcomes, AI opportunities, and execution into a coherent strategy.
Who You Are
You are a principal-level product leader who thrives in transformation environments.
You've:
Led product strategy through significant company change
Owned products tied directly to retention, expansion, and revenue growth
Conducted extensive customer discovery and market research
Partnered closely with Design, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
Built roadmaps that balance customer needs, technical realities, and business outcomes
Used data to drive prioritization decisions
You think:
In customer problems, not feature requests
In outcomes, not output
In systems and workflows, not screens
In business impact, not roadmap volume
You are:
Comfortable and enjoy operating in ambiguity and helping create clarity where answers do not yet exist
Deeply curious about customers
Comfortable making difficult prioritization decisions
Highly analytical but customer obsessed
Excited by AI and emerging technology
Able to create clarity in ambiguous situations
