Patient Intake Coordinator, Bilingual: English/Spanish – Outpatient Behavioral Health

Job Description: • Manage a high volume of inbound calls and emails (50+ patient interactions per day) • Conduct patient intakes and accurately document information in the EHR • Schedule patients based on clinician availability, specialty, and insurance participation • Verify insurance eligibility and explain benefits, copays, and next steps clearly • Maintain accurate schedules and documentation • Coordinate with clinicians, billing, and administrative staff to resolve issues efficiently Requirements: • Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written) • 2+ years of experience in a medical office, behavioral health practice, or healthcare administrative role • Direct experience verifying insurance benefits and explaining coverage to patients • Experience using EHR systems and managing appointment scheduling • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail • Reliable home office with high-speed internet • Must pass Level 2 background check • Must reside in Florida Benefits: • 100% employer-paid health, dental, vision, and life insurance (valued at ~$13,000+ annually) • Safe Harbor 401(k) with company match • Paid Time Off: 13 days in Year 1, increasing to 26 days annually • All federal holidays paid • Fully remote, stable, full-time role with a structured, team-oriented environment and clear expectations
