What You'll Be Doing for arenaflex
As a Claims Data Entry Intake Processor at arenaflex, you will serve as a crucial link between healthcare providers and insurance companies. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately enter data from insurance claims and authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers into our systems. This role requires a high degree of precision and attention to detail, as the data you enter directly impacts claim approval rates, payment processing, and patient access to necessary medical services.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Data Entry Excellence: Enter data from insurance claims and authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times. You will work with various claim types and ensure all information is accurately captured in our system.
- System Navigation: Navigate efficiently and effectively through our imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry. Mastery of multiple software systems is essential for success in this role.
- Document Differentiation: Differentiate between different claim types and follow the appropriate data entry guidelines for each. Understanding the nuances of various insurance claim formats is crucial.
- Special Handling Identification: Accurately identify specific document types that require special handling, ensuring that complex or sensitive claims receive the appropriate attention and processing.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times. Support your colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.

Required Experience
- Six (6) months or more of experience in a data entry or typing-focused role
- Prior experience in insurance claims processing, healthcare administration, or similar environments is highly preferred

- Strong Data Entry/Typing Skills: You must possess exceptional typing abilities with speed and accuracy. The position requires the ability to type at a minimum of 8,200 keystrokes per hour (KSPH) with a 98% accuracy rate.
- Excellent Attention to Detail: The ability to notice small discrepancies and ensure all data is entered correctly is essential. One small error can delay payment or approval, so vigilance is critical.
- High Degree of Accuracy: Precision in data entry cannot be overstated. You must be committed to maintaining near-perfect accuracy levels consistently.
