Position Overview: Part-Time Customer Success & Cloud Solutions Specialist
As a Part-Time Customer Success & Cloud Solutions Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in bridging the gap between our technical solutions and the customers who rely on them. This position combines elements of customer support, technical problem-solving, and cloud solutions design. You'll be the voice of the customer within arenaflex, ensuring that their needs are understood, addressed, and exceeded at every touchpoint.
This is a part-time position offering 8 hours per week of flexible remote work, with a competitive hourly rate of $26. The ideal candidate will be currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field. You'll work collaboratively with teams across the organization while gaining hands-on experience with industry-leading cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Success & Cloud Solutions Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Technical Problem-Solving: Apply foundational technical knowledge to address business and information technology (IT) requirements. You'll analyze technical constraints and develop practical solutions that meet customer needs.
- Customer Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the customer (VOC) by understanding their challenges, gathering feedback on technical capabilities, and identifying gaps or blockers. You'll share these insights with internal teams through established channels to drive continuous improvement.
- Solution Design Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to contribute to proposals for practical solutions based on arenaflex's technical products. You'll demonstrate fundamental technical concepts and showcase how design solutions function through collaborative sessions with customers and partners.
- Research and Analysis: Support research initiatives and contribute to monitoring studies for customers and partners. Help assess potential intellectual property (IP) needs or process improvements that could enhance customer value.
- Community Engagement: Participate in external designer community events such as conferences, courses, technical meetups, webinars, and hackathons. Share your learnings with internal teams to foster knowledge exchange and innovation.
- Architecture Design Discussions: Engage in discussions around architecture design, resilience reviews, and technical development that result in production solution applications and increased customer business value. Ensure that customer environments and applications are well-architected and optimized.
- Feedback Loop: Request input from colleagues to enhance solution proposals and continuously improve customer outcomes. Build strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Academic Standing: Must have at least one additional quarter or semester of school remaining following the completion of this internship/position.
- Technical Aptitude: Demonstrated interest in technology and cloud computing concepts.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong analytical abilities and a passion for finding creative solutions to complex challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will strengthen your application:
- Cloud Certification: Technical certification in cloud platforms (such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud). Familiarity with cloud architecture concepts is highly valued.
- Change Management Certification: Certification in change management methodologies (such as Prosci or equivalent) is a plus.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience with partner and relationship management across senior leaders, partners, and clients.
- Presentation Skills: Strong presentation and demonstration skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
