OpenLoop is seeking a Medical Operations Manager to join our dynamic team remotely. This non-clinical role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our provider workforce. Reporting directly to the Workforce Management team, the Medical Operations Manager will act as the operational backbone, driving accountability and maintaining high performance standards across our network of providers. This role requires a proactive leader with a “drill sergeant” mentality who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses exceptional organizational skills, and has prior experience managing healthcare providers in remote settings. Please note, this role will be required to work Saturday and Sundays , remaining days will be determined. What You'll Do Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provider Performance Management: Monitor and ensure provider adherence to schedules, workflows, and productivity metrics. Proactively identify and address performance issues, providing feedback and corrective actions as needed. Develop and implement strategies to improve provider engagement and efficiency. Operational Oversight: Collaborate with Workforce Management to ensure provider schedules align with patient demand and service goals. Maintain real-time visibility into provider availability and escalate coverage gaps promptly. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for leadership. Provider Support and Accountability: Serve as the main point of contact for providers regarding operational processes and expectations. Address provider questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner. Lead daily or weekly check-ins with providers to reinforce priorities and provide operational updates. Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in provider workflows and recommend solutions. Assist in developing and implementing new operational policies and procedures to enhance provider performance. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Quality Assurance, Patient Experience, and IT teams to resolve operational issues impacting providers. Partner with HR to onboard and train new providers, ensuring they meet operational standards. Other duties as assigned. Who You Are Minimum of 3 years in a healthcare operations role, preferably managing or supporting healthcare providers. Experience in telehealth or remote workforce management is highly preferred. Strong leadership and accountability-driven mindset; able to enforce high standards with empathy and respect. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and engaging providers. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Proficient in workforce management tools, scheduling software, and telehealth platforms. Comfortable with data analysis tools to track and report on performance metrics.
