Marketing Specialist - Email & Digital Support

Our Client, a Public Utilities company, is looking for a Marketing Specialist - Email & Digital Support for their Oak Brook, IL/Hybrid location. Responsibilities: • A Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating and implementing marketing campaigns to promote a product, service, or brand. They work closely with other members of the marketing team, as well as with sales, product development, and other departments to achieve marketing goals. Responsibilities may include: • Developing marketing strategies and plans to reach target audiences. • Creating marketing materials, such as brochures, advertisements, and social media posts. • Managing digital marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and online advertising. • Conducting market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer preferences. • Analyzing marketing data and metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness. • Collaborating with other departments to coordinate marketing efforts. • Planning and attending marketing events, such as trade shows and conferences. • Monitoring and managing the marketing budget. • Providing support to sales teams and other departments as needed. • Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in marketing. Requirements: • Highly organized individual required. • Familiar with HTML email sending platforms like Eloqua, Salesforce, Hubspot, Mailchimp. • Translate template images and copy into a functional email (newsletters, promo emails, ad-hoc requests) in Oracle Eloqua platform. • Review customer lists for invalid or duplicate email addresses • Maintain and segment lists for targeted campaigns. • Maintain Eloqua contact limit. • Scheduling campaigns by leveraging a deployment calendar to prevent oversaturating customers. • Pull campaign performance reports on key metrics, provide insights and recommendations on them and share with campaign owners • Leverage 3rd party data like Questline benchmarks to compare performance. • Understand rules around compliance, bulk emails, preferences. • Experience in email marketing preferably in B2B and B2C environments. • Excellent communication and project management skills. • Manage Email Planner Board • Manage Email Marketing Calendar • Highly organized, detail-oriented, project management • Familiar with HTML email sending platforms (i.e., Eloqua, Salesforce, HubSpot, Mailchimp). Experience in email marketing preferably in B2B and B2C environments. • Years of experience: 1-5 years • Bachelors Degree preferred • Specific experience: HTML email platform experience (i.e., Eloqua, Salesforce, HubSpot, Mailchimp). • Marketing & customer education email campaigns. Building email templates, maintaining customer distribution lists, scheduling email campaign deployments, pulling campaign performance reports.
