Building strong relationships with customers, the full-time Logistics Account Manager will manage expectations, provide exceptional service, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational success in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
• Maintain constant communication with customers to meet their day-to-day and long-term logistics needs
• Participate in rate calculations and customer presentations for large-spend bids to ensure profitability
• Identify and build new business relationships while assisting the Customer Service Manager in delivering optimal service solutions
Required qualifications
• 1-2 years of account management experience in the transportation and logistics field is an asset
• Recent college or university degree in Sales & Marketing or a business-related field is required
• 3+ years of sales and account management experience in transportation and logistics is preferred
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on both internal and external customers
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
