The Junior Paralegal will support various practice groups by providing comprehensive practice support, managing cases, and assisting in the preparation of legal documents.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive practice support and end-to-end case management
- Draft, review, and proofread correspondence, legal notices, documents, and forms
- Assist in preparing briefs and other legal documents
- Electronically file documents across various courts and jurisdictions
- Assisting with e-discovery and document review platforms (e.g., Relativity)
- Compile and organize materials for depositions, hearings, and trials
- Analyze, index, and manage documents and exhibits
- Maintain and organize case team documents and files
- Track deadlines and monitor due dates
- Attend and assist at trial and arbitration as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved institution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
- Strong proofreading skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused approach
- Superior organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently, manage workflow efficiently, and exercise sound judgment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work overtime, travel, and handle after-hours filings and deliverables as needed
- Hybrid role: in-office presence required Monday–Thursday (minimum four days per week)
- Some work experience is preferred
